RTI/MTSS Purpose Statement
The purpose of the RtI process at our middle school is… to establish a collaborative culture that through open, flexible, data-driven and innovative processes promotes a whole-child perspective to learning and provides an opportunity for all students to achieve their maximum potential.

SMART Goals

  • To determine the assessment tools to be administered this year.
  • To plan for the logistics of assessment administration. Currently scheduled for January for sixth-grade students and June for seventh and eighth-grade students.
  • Identify a program which works with our student management system (if possible)
  • Provide professional development to teachers and staff on universal screening, RtI vision, and interventions. This will be evaluated using an end of year survey and monitoring attendance at upcoming in-service opportunities.
