SRSD Project

thinkSRSD offers an e-Learning resource designed to support teachers in not just learning, but fully implementing, SRSD. thinkSRSD’s e-Learning includes authentic lesson videos shot with all grade levels (K-HS) & populations (small group, full class) + advice from many teachers.

Even more, beyond a simple starter toolbox of standard resources, thinkSRSD also offers hundreds of additional teacher-customized lesson plans, model essays, text sets for writing tasks & more. (adapted from thinkSRSD.com)

This Module features the Self-Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD) model, which outlines the six steps required to effectively implement any instructional strategy and emphasizes the time and effort required to do so (est. completion time: 1 hour).

The NYS RTI Middle School Demonstration Project has partnered with thinkSRSD to offer our demonstration schools the opportunity to receive professional development from Dr. Leslie Laud of the thinkSRSD team.  The thinkSRSD website features a youtube channel, professional development opportunities, and free resources.
