The Brooklyn Science & Engineering Academy is an urban public school (6-8), of the 18th geographic district is situated in Brooklyn, the New York City borough with the largest population. The middle school falls a short distance from Prospect and Spring Creek parks.
School Demographics (2015-2016)
As a relatively new school, 149 students were enrolled in grades 6-7 during the 2015-2016 school year. The school now has an eighth grade and a larger population. Of the enrolled students in the 2015-2016 school year, 79% were considered economically disadvantaged and 18% received special education services.
