This program is designed for intermediate and secondary students who completed either the REWARDS Intermediate or REWARDS Secondary program. REWARDS Plus is designed to provide continued decoding and fluency practice with a greater focus on vocabulary and comprehension. This program is designed for students reading at a 2.5 grade level or above.
REWARDS Plus is a strategic, short term intervention program. It is an explicit and systematic program following the “I do,” you do,” “we do” model.
The primary focus in this program is building content-area vocabulary and comprehension skills, as well as supporting students in accurately and fluently reading multisyllabic words commonly found in science and social studies texts and materials.
